My name is Julia and I run Loving Care Grave Tending services.
I have been tending three family graves on a weekly basis for the past 16 years and personally understand how much peace it can bring knowing that a loved ones final resting place is well cared for.
I came to realise that I could help to bring some comfort to others too, those who are unable to tend to their loved ones grave or memorial. For many reasons - work & family commitments, distance, limited mobility or illness, it may not be possible to visit in person or as often as you would like. Or perhaps you would just appreciate help with the upkeep of the burial or cremation plot.
I offer a compassionate and respectful service, tending your relatives or friends place of rest with Loving Care on your behalf.
Our grave tending service is always carried out with the upmost respect and empathy,
giving you reassurance and peace of mind
A Typical visit will include

Removal of any previous decayed floral arrangements, debris and weeds

Grass trimmed and edgings tidied

Light cleaning of headstone or memorial

Vases and ornaments washed

Fresh flower posy left at each visit - with a personal message, if required

A before and after photograph provided after each tend

Special dates & anniversaries can be catered for

Julia has been regularly tending the “Bell” family grave in Dartford Cemetary for several years now, weeding and digging, putting down fresh compost when needed, and if necessary putting in new plants/flowers or even small shrubs as well as cleaning the headstone. She offers a fantastic service and takes great care and pride in her work. As I live such a long way from the Graveyard it’s not always possible for me to make regular visits to maintain the Grave so I cannot recommend Julia too highly.

Prior to the first tend I will visit the place of rest, take photographs and request agreement of the condition of the memorial and if additional work will be required that does not fall within the Standard Service

All tending will be carried out adhering to the cemetery rules and regulations

For all packages the cost of the first visit must be fully covered by the annual, quarterly or monthly fee before that visit can take place. This may mean that an advance payment is due at the beginning of a monthly payment plan

Proof of fulfilment of the service will be by email, showing before and after photographs

We cannot accept responsibility or liability for any loss and/or damage that may occur after our work has been completed and we have left the gravesite
